Passion

Passion | Happiness+Technology | Scoop.it

One of the most beautiful words in our language is “enthusiasm.” It is a Greek word, which translates to “a God within.” Within you is an infinite passionate soul that wishes to express itself. It’s the God within you urging you to fulfill a deep sense of what you were meant to be.
The beauty of feeling passionate and enthusiastic is the glorious feeling of joy and cheerfulness that comes along with it.
If you want to feel great, look into the mirror, and say to yourself, “I am eternal; this reflection will fade, but I am infinite. I am here temporarily for a reason. I will be passionate about all that I do.” Then, notice how you feel as you stare at your reflection in the mirror. You will get a sense of belonging to eternity. In a world that lasts forever, you certainly must belong! It’s impossible for you not to belong, because your presence here is evidence that a passionate, enthusiastic divine source, intended you to be here.
Any idea that our life is temporary and that you aren’t a piece of God’s infinite perfection devoid of passion leads you to self-doubt, anxiety, self-rejection, depression, and many more low energy feelings of misery.
If you change the way you feel about things, the things you feel about will change.

Broken Heart

Broken Heart | Happiness+Technology | Scoop.it

Who out there has not suffered a broken heart at one time or another? Some may have experienced it when they were teenagers; some while they were looking for a lifetime companion, while others experienced it at a time when they thought their love life was secure. Many of us get over a broken heart, but some choose to carry the scars with them, by closing the wound so tightly that Love can never enter again.
It seems so difficult for us to open our hearts to Love. We are constantly being reminded of feelings of hurt and rejection. We take advice from those who know less about Love than we do. We are so steeped in our own problems, failures, and egos that we isolate ourselves from the world, neither giving Love nor accepting Love. We retreat into our shells like turtles and build our own protective walls to keep us from feeling further hurt, but far from protecting us, our walls, become a prison. We lock ourselves into solitary confinement, and slowly we die, physically, mentally and spiritually.
Open your heart and allow Love to enter. What does it matter if we hurt for a little while if it is a step towards happiness? Happiness can never really be achieved without Love. Life is for the living. How can we truly appreciate pleasure and joy unless we experience some pain and sorrow?
I like this poem written by Chalmers Smith.

There is no gain, except by Loss.
There is no life, except by Death.
There is no vision, but by Faith.

Love heals the body; comforts the lonely; lights the way; overcomes fears; brings prosperity and builds character. Most of all, Love reveals the meaning of life.

A Song of Love and Care

I wrote this poem thirty years ago. It is the first and only poem I ever wrote.

The Son of God will soon be here

Now in this land of stress and strain

The Son of God will end all pain

He is here and there and everywhere

The Son of God will end all fear

He sees the wars and all their terror

The Son of God will end all error

He knows the souls who stumbled and fell

The Son of God will end all Hell

I sing a song of love and care

The Son of God is very near

For in the hearts of you and me

Lives the Son of God from Galilee

Seeing Is Believing

Seeing Is Believing | Happiness+Technology | Scoop.it

How do cyber criminals use Facebook to steal your money. A direct form of identity theft is used when a criminal logs onto an existing user account using a illegally obtained ID and password. Once they are online, they have the victim's entire friends list at their disposal and a trusted cyber identity. The hacker uses the popular London scam, in which the fraudster claims to be stranded overseas and needs the money to make it home. This scam has a high rate of success on Facebook because, there is a baseline of trust between the user and those on their friends list. To prevent this type of scam Bot Revolt blocks over 1 billion known cyber criminals IP's from invading your IP. In other words if they cannot get into your IP then you are safe. Check our video out through my link below so you see what is really happening.

The Secret of Life

The Secret of Life | Happiness+Technology | Scoop.it

The big question is, why are we here? The object of this life is the pursuit of happiness. Most people feel that if they become successful, then they will find happiness. Wrong, it is the other way around. You must find happiness in order to be successful. Now, you may say I know a lot of wealthy people who are unhappy and you would be right. Maybe the way they got their riches is what’s making them unhappy. For you and me, let’s keep it simple.
Pursue happiness. Find happiness with your present employment. It’s not the job, it’s you. Are you as happy as you want to be? Happiness should not come from outside influences, happiness is a state of mind, and only you control the state of your mind.
Happiness comes from living in this moment. If you are worried about tomorrow or fretting about yesterday you will not be happy today. Today, right now, this moment, is all there is. Make up your mind right now that you are happy, you are alive, that you have many blessings to be happy about. You, who are procrastinating, do it now. Say these words, “I am happy.” Say them over, and over until you feel happy. Then look at your world. What in it is making you unhappy? Identify it and then (very important) change the way you look at your unhappiness. What is good about it? How can you change to make it work for you? If it’s a person you think is making you unhappy, you can’t change that person; you can only change you. If you are unable to change, then you are unable to succeed. Don’t say “I’ve always been like this” because this is exactly what’s keeping you from enjoying success, happiness and prosperity

How to deal with stress

Stress has a stealthy and sometimes perplexing influence on our lives. It can motivate us to great accomplishments or it can nearly paralyze us.
The good news is that, while we often can’t control the “in box” of external pressures that weigh on us, we can always control how we think about them and how we choose to deal with them.
The bad news is that, if we have not been taking care of ourselves physically and mentally, our ability to handle inevitable stressors may be severely limited and our health compromised.
The ugly news is that if we are not aware of our ability to control stress, we will continue to be a victim of ourselves.

You must start each day saying:
Today I choose to feel good.
No one is going to make me feel bad.
Today I will feel healthy; nothing will make me feel ill.
Today I will feel happy; nothing will make me feel sad.

Only you can change your world and you can do it the instant you make up your mind to see the good in everything.
Evil, pain, suffering, hatred, racism, worry, stress, greed; sickness, and sin, are all manmade, and are just as well eliminated by changing our thoughts.

The Trinity of Humankind

The Trinity of Humankind | Happiness+Technology | Scoop.it

In all the books I ever read on the subject, no one told me how to use my mind to be successful. Well, I’m going to tell you now. All human beings have three minds:
1. Our Conscious Mind: This Mind is the one we are most familiar with. The Conscious Mind gathers all of the information from our five senses, and then makes decisions. Our Conscious Mind is like the operator of a computer. The operator must first make a decision to turn the computer on, then to go into a search engine or into emails. Our computer however only gives back what’s put into it.

2. Our Subconscious Mind: This one, is the mind that the majority of human beings have no idea about how it works or how to use it. Our Subconscious Mind is like our software; it in fact contains all the information in the universe. However, our Subconscious Mind cannot do anything unless it receives commands from our operator (The Conscious Mind). Our Subconscious Mind does not know the difference between real and unreal and will create into reality whatever the Conscious Mind instructs it to do. Since eighty-seven percent of the world is mostly negative, what our combined Subconscious Minds creates is mostly negative. If you doubt that, look around you. Wars, hatred, jealousy, poverty, illness, bigotry, etc., are all products of negative commands from the Conscious Mind to the Subconscious Mind.

3. Our Universal Superconscious Mind is the mind of God. This is the hard drive to our computer called life. Here is the truth that you may not be unaware of. There is only one soul in the universe; it is the Universal Superconscious Mind of God. This Universal Superconscious Mind is connected to every living thing. God communicates with us through our Subconscious Mind. God communicates by sending us ideas and thoughts, kind of like getting an email every day. Actually, it’s thousands of emails every second. I think God is spamming humanity. It is our Subconscious Mind’s job to wade through the emails and pick out the ones that are important to us. Our Subconscious Mind gets its commands from our Conscious Mind what to look for.

You are exactly what you think about all day long, and you control it so when you change the way you look at things the things you look at change.

Today’s Exercise: Use your Minds to attain everything you need and want.

Today’s Affirmation: I am infinite. I am God.

Points to Ponder: You are exactly what you think about all day long.
