These are basically formalities and conventions students need to abide by when using iPad in class. Making students explicitly aware of their responsibilities behind using iPad in class will certainly help you tap into the full educational potential of this versatile gadget. I have gone through my archive and picked out these handy visuals for you to use with your students."

Great Examples of How Content Curation Tools Can Be Effectively Used In Education

Great Examples of How Content Curation Tools Can Be Effectively Used In Education | Handy Online Tools for Schools | Scoop.it

Why is curation important?

Curation is a life skill and an important part of being digitally literate.  Educators need to know how to curate information so they can teach students how they can curate content for research, their interests and passion. As part of this process educators need to encourage students to curate information using techniques that address their own personal learning needs.

What is content Curation? Great explanation and very interesting interview with Robin Good on curation.

John Gougoulis's curator insight, August 19, 3:34 AM

An absolutely significant skill in any research or investigation, for educators and learners in the digital age - the curation of content- with a clear focus or question in mind, the capacity to target a search field, sift through, reflect on and make decisions about the most suitable resource or evidence to use. What a great learning experience.

60 iPad Productivity Apps For Modern Teachers

60 iPad Productivity Apps For Modern Teachers | Handy Online Tools for Schools | Scoop.it

But technology may be able to help. This list, for example. We’ve offered ideas in the past to helpteachers save time, but those can only do so much. As can these apps, but every little bit helps, yes? Your workload, grade level, school climate, personal organizational habits–even beliefs about what a teacher is supposed to be and do all matter more than an app, but if you’re mobile and connected, you at least have a chance.

From RSS readers to social readers to to-do lists to calendar apps to note-taking and cloud-based document editing and more, this list has to have something that can improve the efficiency of what you do.

Assuming you have an iPad.
