Bicester revealed as new garden city | Hamilton Court FX | Scoop.it
Bicester in Oxfordshire has been chosen as the site for the coalition's second new garden city, the government has confirmed.
StickyCommunication's insight:

Mark Palmer from Hamilton Court FX comments on Construction Industry, "UK construction data put a dampener on the Pound's recent rally. Output in this sector is at a 13 month low according to the PMI data that was released yesterday, though is still well clear of any risk of contraction. House building is still the leading component of the construction sector and isn't likely to change as the government embarks on their Garden City project." Reversing these trades when rates start to rise could be very problematic and could cause large swings in the value of the assets, which is ultimately going to lead to large losses for some. The FT has more on the potential problems
