Jessica Grimes's insight:

The image of America at the bottom shows how gay marriage is spreading. The yellow states show that gay marriage is still illegal. The purple show the states that have made gay marriage legal.

I think it's great that marriage equality is happening, although it may look or seem a little strange to me I still think it's beautiful to finally see people have the opportunity to marry the love of their life.

From the point of view of the gay community, the economic impact of legalizing gay marriage is a no-brainer. But what are the costs and benefits to the economy overall, regardless of your sexual inclination?

Jessica Grimes's insight:

Coming from a man who is gay point of view, he explains a lot. He says how America is spending more by denying the right to gays getting married instead of making the money from letting them marry. He also just explains why he thinks it should be legal.

Jessica Grimes's insight:

It's wrong that Roy Moore is saying that our future is going to destroy the United States. He also had said that gay marriage will be the ultimate destruction of our country. That isn't true at all because gay marriage isn't harming anyone.

Judge Moore should not have been so demoralizing towards the gay comminity. However, he is entitled to his opinion.

Jessica Grimes's insight:

I think that it was wrong that these gay couple got beaten so badly over being gay. They wanted to push gay marriage so that they can be happy. The people in Paris pretty much beat them up because they were walking arm in arm.

This is very sad knowing that people can't accept people for who they are.
Maddy Martini's comment, April 7, 2014 1:19 PM
This is so sad. Why can't people accept someone else for having different values? Makes you wonder if people don't want to see other people happy.
Jessica Grady's comment, April 8, 2014 1:09 PM
I believe that everyone should have the right to love who they love no matter what. Walking down the street arm in arm was not hurting anyone, and the fact that people went out of their way to hurt them is awful.
