Documentary on the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and Camp Delta. The place where enemy combatants and terrorists are kept imprisoned by the Unit...
This documentary is about the prisoners. After watching it it left me speechless. I also defiantly agree that this horrifying prison needs to be closed. The prisoners are basically treated worse than animals. I cannot believe how horrible this prison really is.
This photo relates to the my topic because its a picture of two prisoners in Guantanamo. They both have signs that read " I died waiting for justice". In this prison that's exactly what these prisoners wait for. Most of them get captured just for the reason that they look like terrorist.

He continued to believe that closing the Guantanamo prison was in the "country's fiscal and national security interests". Andrea Prasaw, senior counter terrorism counsel at human rights watch, which advocates closing Guantanamo. She said that "administration blames congress for making it harder to close Guantanamo". She also added that "the burden was on Obama", he had to show seriousness on closing the prison. There are about 166 men that remain at the prison. The prisoners have no rights, most of them dont even have a lawyer to help them with their case. Over the past years a United Nations Human Rights has tried to close down the Guantanamo prison. " in may 2006 another United Nations was sent one from United Nations committee against torture- called on the US to stop using the prison in Guantanamo." Obama also tried to close down the prison in may 2009 he gave a speech to an audience he said "we are cleaning up something that is - quite simply- mess; a misguided experiment that has left in its wake a flood of legal challenges that my administration is forced to deal with on a constant basis." Obama does not want to give up on closing the prison.
