Do trees form smart mobs? | Collective intelligence |

Ok, so our brain cells, neurons, form networks.  Got that.

Birds, fish, bats, rats, ants, musquitos, hyenas, elephants and a whole suite of other animals form networks too and by doing so seem to demonstrate some form of collective intelligence.

Now here comes Suzanne Simard, who tells us trees also form networks.  She talks about mother trees and smart mobs of trees.
