Gretchen Schorr Announces Support of Animal Charities
Gretchen Schorr has developed a solid reputation as an advisor in the realm of investments and finances, but throughout her life she has had a special love for animals. One of her favorite pastimes is taking a hike with her dogs through the beautiful vineyards near her home in California. Gretchen Schorr and her dogs have gone on many adventures along the coast of California and Oregon!
As a result of this love for animals, Gretchen Schorr is proud to announce her avid support for several animal charities. She is involved with several prominent animal charity organizations, including the Humane Society, the World Society for Protection of Animals, Animal Friends of the Valley, and the San Diego Zoo.
Gretchen Schorr hopes that her efforts with these charities will help to protect the lives of many innocent animals. “I’ve always enjoyed spending time with my dogs, so I realized that I wanted to devote my time and resources to improving the lives of other animals,” Gretchen Schorr comments.
Each of the charities that Gretchen Schorr supports is devoted to bettering the lives of animals. Gretchen Schorr is especially inspired by the work of the San Diego Zoo. Since going on several trips to Africa, Gretchen Schorr has had a fascination with the majestic creatures that she saw on safaris throughout Africa. For instance, in the Masai Mara in Kenya she enjoyed the chance to see the “Big Five,” while she observed the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti and gorillas in Uganda.
As Gretchen Schorr enters into partnerships with these animal charities, she says that the best part about working with these organizations is the passion that these individuals feel for animals. “Everyone that volunteers or works for these charities are completely devoted to saving and protecting animals, whether it’s an abandoned puppy on the side of the road or a hippo who has spent his whole life in the zoo.” Gretchen Schorr hopes to continue working with these animal charities in the coming years. She firmly believes that they are doing their best to make a difference in the lives of animals.
