The Green Shop

The Green Shop | cape town | Scoop.it

The Green Shop came into being as we found that there was just too little which is 'green' available in our beautiful country. The intention of TGS was to source and offer products which were eco-friendly in one way or another. It's no small task as these types of products are not as common as you would think. We are constantly looking for locally made products but also supplement the range with goodies from abroad.

The general feedback from customers was that they were intrigued and delighted that new and exciting products were avaialble in South Africa and a move to a higher profile store in Cape Town's Cape Quarter was done. Boksburg was next, Pretoria and Benoni are looming....

The Market Place

The Market Place | cape town | Scoop.it

Small business owners and entrepreneurs showcasing their wares at The Marketplace have been hand-picked for the exceptional quality of produce they offer. Over time and in search of a healthier lifestyle we have become more demanding of local food harvests free of chemicals and preservatives, and more supportive of whole food grown in an environmentally responsible manner. We have welcomed the choice to buy sustainable fish and to support the small farmer who offers hormone-free, free-range meat and dairy. We have always admired the talents of a good craftsman and the creativity of a gifted artist. We continue to afford time to celebrating relationships and cultural diversity, and we have always, always loved music!
