This green wines infographic states how vineyards are reaching out through organic labeling and green marketing to capture green conscious consumers.
While green wine isn’t exactly on the top of my list of pressing environmental issues, it’s worth noting that the wine industry is playing it’s part in environmental stewardship. As the infographic points out, watch out for the actual certification because many wine makers will use the terms “made with organic grapes” which is not the same as USDA certified wine, often due to added sulfites.
