Senior Research Project(2013)

 

Information Gathering:

 

Students will gather information from credible sources (please use the credibility flow chart).  Each source must be summarized, paraphrased, or quoted (Please use handout directions specific to paraphrasing, quoting, summarizing). 

 

Students must include the following for each source entry:

 

1. Source Credibility – Author, title, organization, credentials etc.

2. How you used the source – Paraphrase, quote or summarize

3. Which subtopic the sourse information will support – create a topic sentence for             

    your subtopics.

4. The paraphrased, sumarized, quoted materials . Include a copy of print material if             

    possible. **Most entries should be paraphrased

 

Organize all materials in a notebook or binder

 

Student will need __________ entries, due by ______________.  ___________ different Sources must be used, INCLUDING YOUR INTERVIEW.
