A man thinks his best friend likes the same girl as him.
It can connect to “Twilight”, even though is a little different. Two men like the same girl, they were enemies, but after the girl’s choice, they become friends.
It’s not funny, it’s even normal, because many people are like love triangle. A younger brother is jealous of his older brother, and tries to cause him problems.
It can connect to “Snow White”, even though is a little different. The stepmother is jealous the beautifulness of Snow White, and tries to kill her, even though she is her stepmother.
It’s not funny, because all the people can jealous others if they are better than them. A group of friends goes to a costume party.
It can connect to “The Clique”. In the movie, two girls are not friends, they tries to cause each other problems. At the end of the movie, they went to a part, and after some experience, they finally become good friends.
It’s not funny, because friends go to a party is really normal. A woman is told by her father that she must marry someone.
It can connect to “The Butterfly Lovers.” The female is told by her father that she must marry someone. However, after the girl and the boy meet each other in school, they become really good friends, and later on, when the father told her that he is the person she has to marry, she didn’t say no.
It’s funny, because they don’t want to marry each other at first, but after something happen, they want to marry to each other, even when the father says she doesn’t have to if she doesn’t want to.
A woman is an outcast when she is accused of being promiscuous.
It can connect to “Chinese Orphan”, even though is a little different. It’s about a boy, who is orphan, and he is an outcast, many people bully him, and once he is accused of being promiscuous. He cannot resist them. However, after he grows up, he start to revenge.
It’s not funny, it’s even little serious, because the outcast is really poor, and has nothing. A woman hides the fact that she fancies someone by making jokes about him.
It can connect to “Dance Academy”. A man suppose to hold the woman up, but he doesn’t have enough strength, so the woman always make jokes about him, but sometimes, she would imagine he hole her up.
It’s funny, because the jokes would be really funny, and weird. A policeman messes up an investigation because he is stupid.
It can connect to “Pitaya Flower”. It’s about many police and instructors are stupid, and they only can do some silly things, for example: peep. However, at the end of the movie, they unintentionally catch a group of robs, and they make contributions.
It’s funny, because he is stupid. A man challenges someone to a fight for being mean to a girl.
It can connect to “Twilight”. Two men like the same girl, and the girl choose one of them, later on, that man hurts the girl a lot, and the other man go to fight with him for being mean to the girl.
It’s not funny, because that person respects females, and wouldn’t let them to get hurt.
Taylor Swift is after all of her Ex boyfriends who dumped her in this I Knew You Were Trouble parody!!!! GET THIS SONG ON iTUNES - http://bit.ly/X0FXkc TWEET...
Lily Zhang's insight:
What is a parody? A parody means to deliberately copy others, including music, actions, videos, etc.
This is copied from Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble”. In the video, a guy is mimicking her actions, her singing, and the way she dresses. “She” is walking down the street with “her” friend, and talking about her ex-boyfriends. This “guy” is poking fun at Taylor Swift by exaggerating her movements. For example, as they are walking, he moves his shoulders around, starts jumping, and dancing in circles on the sidewalk. He was making fun of Taylor Swift about her ex-boyfriends.
My friend, Edward plays saxophone, he really likes it, and he is very hardworking that practices it everyday. He practices without supervise and urge. Because he practices very much, everyone thought that his saxophone skill is improved, and the sound is religious. However, once he takes out his saxophone from the box, set up it, and stood beside me, started to play a song. After few bars, I cannot listen and watch him to play anymore, because the sound is just horrible, like killing a chicken, and the position is boneless. I said, “Edward, can you stop playing? Do you know that the sound is terrible? I cannot do my homework anymore. And, please don’t show any others, because they thought that you can play it very well, and if you show them, you will scare them. I have never heard of this type of ‘music’, it’s awful. Do you really practice the saxophone everyday?”
