WOW, WHAT A WEEK

MARGARET THATCHER

Angela Sinclaire Mizel's insight:

So wow what a week !! Margaret Thatcher died peacefully in her bed at the Ritz Hotel. It seems Lady Thatcher never had much luck with hotels the last time she stayed in one she was nearly blown right over Brighton pier. But with in hours of her passing the readers of the Daily mirror and the Sun newspapers were at each others throats and then a day later they were really tipped over the edge when they were told it was going to cost 10 million pounds to bury Lady Thatcher !! Wow that must be one hell of a hole they are digging !

I for one could not understand what people were complaining about !! I mean if people had been told 30 years ago that it would cost 10 million pounds to bury Maggie the majority would have considered it money well spent. There just seems to be no pleasing some people.

Mark Thatcher was criticised for not being there at the bitter end but to be fair to him it must have taken sometime to check out to see if there were any international arrest warrant's out standing on him or if he had made it into the top 10 FBI most wanted fugitives.

I for one was quite amazed he got there so quickly as Mark does struggle with getting from A to B with out the whole of the British RAF being sent out to find him.

Lady Thatcher was always controversial figure and will be remembered for a lot of things, one being ''Thatcher the milk snatcher '' when in the 80s she took away the free school bottle of milk for the kids.
I for one think she was canny and she knew that a few years later those kids would be giving her those bottles back filled with petrol and a burning rag stuffed in the top, so she was just disarming the little bastards before it all kicked off.

There was outrage from the Daily mail readers when street parties broke out across the country especially in Scotland, but to be fare to the good folk of Scotland they did not even realise she had passed away as they were still celebrating that she had been sacked in the 90s.

Former IRA man Gerry Adams told sky news that Thatcher had caused a lot of damage to Britain !! Err maybe not quite as much damage as you and your mates and your sticks Semtex explosives Eh Gerry !!

David Cameron paid his respects and told the country that Maggie had made Britain great again, mind you back then Cameron was a pissed up teenage Bullingdon boy who though that lighting his own farts was great and smashing up restaurants and pubs was bloody jolly good fun so life must have seen pretty bloody great for him under Mrs Thatcher..

Mr Cameron also said the street parties were in very bad taste !! I mean Larger and crisps you call that a party !! where is the bloody Bollinger champagne and smoked salmon you Neanderthals !! wait until next week and I will show you a party as soon as we have laid the old girl to rest and the best part is you lot will be picking up the bill for our mid week little Tory shindig.

Argentina are not being invited to Mrs Thatchers funeral as there is a fear that they will arrive in the dead of night and claim Britain as their own. They seem to be still a little upset that Maggie ordered the sinking of the Belgrano, but as I would point out, Maggie had forgiven them for getting David Beckham sent off in the world cup so surely they were quits now.

More controversy at the BBC as people started to download the song ''Ding Dong the witch is dead'' They have said that the will only play a few seconds of it and then explain why that song is in the charts, its a shame they did not take the same stance with ''Everything I do I do it for you'' because I could never figure out why that song was in the charts and why it was at number one for 27 years !! It could have been worse for Lady Thatcher it could have been AC/DC and ''I'm on the high way to hell''

I think that Mrs Thatcher will be going to heaven and I think that it will be only a matter of time before there is a takeover and we have our first female God and then when we die the rich will become angels and live in paradise and the poor will become fruit bats and live in caves.

So love her or loath her she left her mark on this country and her mark on many thousands of people, mostly in the shape of a policeman's truncheon on the back of the head for those daring to be on a picket line or marching against the poll tax.

In all her years we only ever saw her shed a tear twice, once when her daft son with a brain of a pickled onion got himself lost in a desert and once more when the Tory party decided that she was now quite stark raving mad and wheeled her out of number 10.
Not once did she shed a tear for the misery of all those families that were living with out food and heating and all those children that played in the poverty stricken streets that were once tight knit communities or the young men that died on her policies in NI and her orders in the Falklands conflict. She just could not show the country that even though she was making these tough choices she truly believed in but were causing misery to millions, she could not show that she was still at heart a woman and a mother and she knew that there was so much pain and so many mothers shedding tears for what would become of them and their husbands and children, there was so much weeping all over the country YET she could only show emotion for herself or her own family.

Maggie would love all this fuss, she thrived on splitting opinion and loved to be hated by some, and so I do not think she would be offended by posts like this or even the street parties.
To her last day I believe she thought she was right and everyone else was wrong and so she will have her last day in the sun and then the history books will be left to judge her .. Margaret Thatcher 1925 - 2013
