Crazy that there are so many people in our country illegally. It's great that some people actually do help our country but some illegals also hurt it as well. Our government needs to step up and figure out our immigration problem.

This article is about how illegal immigration affects the US. The number of illegal immigrants is rising every year, and something needs to be done to stop it. The reason many of these people come here illegally is because they want a better future, but they don't want to have to wait for years to get it.
Mitchell Forrest Enerson's curator insight, May 21, 2014 2:02 PM

There are too many people that are getting into our country illegally and it needs to be controlled. We need to lock down borders and allow easier legal immigration. We would love to and need to have immigrants in our country but they need to become immigrants legally. Our government should make this top priority.

Responsible Usage on Aerial Drones & Pocket Drone Demo

Responsible Usage on Aerial Drones & Pocket Drone Demo | Gov&Law JaredOrth | Scoop.it

Drones are the hot new gear item – in fact, 2014 has been called the “Year of the Drone.” Check out this article about how a news videographer got in hot water with the FAA over the use of a drone at an accident scene.[adrotate group="6"] No doubt news photographers will want... http://blog.planet5d.com/2014/03/responsible-usage-on-aerial-drones-pocket-drone-demo/

Jared Orth's insight:

I think they are useful but there needs to be a regulation on them.

I think that drones can be very useful to us, but they can also be very dangerous if bad people get ahold of them or use them for bad things. I think that if the police are using them to track down criminals, that is a good use, but if criminals are using them to scout areas where they could commit crimes, that could be very bad. There needs to be laws that limit what they can be used for.

Obama Admin Working on New Gun Regulations

Obama Admin Working on New Gun Regulations | Gov&Law JaredOrth | Scoop.it

The Obama Administration is working on new gun regulations for lost and/or stolen firearms.

Jared Orth's insight:

i think this is a good idea thing, if a gun can go missing at any time and not being reported or discovered for any length of time is a little concerning. If a gun goes missing it could potentially get in the wrong hands.

I do not agree with a lot of what Obama is doing, but this is one thing that I believe is a good idea. There needs to be a system in place to make sure that firearms are recovered after being stolen or lost. I do not think people should have to register very gun that they own, but there should be some way to track if they have been stolen and when.

This article is about a governor who did not talk about what people wanted him to. For people to become leaders, they need to know what people want and how to get that. This governor did not do that, and he needs to.
