I would have to say I am more towards pro life. Honestly I don't think that abortion will ever become illegal. Everything kind of goes against each other. For example, the mother will lose her right to choose, but then it takes away the child's right to life.

I honestly wonder what people are thinking when they talk about things that don't really affect them, it tends to undervalue what they are talking about, if they don't really know what they are talking about. Lets' say for example, you've got a senator who is pretty vocal about being anti-gay marriage, all of a sudden his son comes out of the closet, and the senator does a 180 on marriage, to conclude, i don't really think people should talk about things that don't really affect them

Despite popular belief, abortion does not affect a woman's ability to carry a baby any more than drinking a glass of water would. The idea that this is to protect women's health is a flat out lie or perhaps an effect of misinformation in order to scare women out of what is rightfully their choice. I do think that there should be limits as to when a fetus is able to be aborted or not. But making abortions illegal will do nothing but cause women to go to more extreme measures. Maybe instead of attacking abortion, the government or health care facilities should instead provide better means of sex education and prevention in the first place. On top of that, how can you condemn a mother's choice to take a growing fetus' life in a world where, if she gave it up for adoption otherwise, it will just be crammed into an over crowded and most likely uncaring home in an over populated world. If there were more people capable and willing to adopt, Abortion would not be such a big issue.

Digital Grab: Corporate Power Has Seized the Internet

Digital Grab: Corporate Power Has Seized the Internet | Gov. and Law | Scoop.it

“Most assessments of the Internet fail to ground it in political economy; they fail to understand the importance of capitalism in shaping and, for lack of a better term, domesticating the Internet,” says Robert W. McChesney in his illuminating new book, Digital Disconnect: How Capitalism is Turning the Internet Against Democracy.

“The profit motive, commercialism, public relations, marketing, and advertising -- all defining features of contemporary corporate capitalism -- are foundational to any assessment of how the Internet has developed and is likely to develop.”

The guy is right - corporations have seized (or are trying to seize) control of the internet. But they do not have any idea of how hot an iron they are touching. With the combined power of all the people networked...

Someone said yesterday: "I see this as a swan song of corporations. They are doomed."
