There are so many good things from Google. Check them out. One feature that I use often is the form features. I send out surveys and invitations. Responses feed into a spreadsheet. Delete the scoop?

"However, my colleagues at EdTechTeacher and I think that rather than asking which device should my school use, the more poignant question may be ‘what do I want my students to do?’ or w’hich tool will best support my students learning needs?’ In this push to pick a platform and enter into a committed relationship, teachers, administrators, and even school boards have focused on the single device instead of ‘why do you want a mobile device in the first place?"

I agree that we should be analyzing what the students can do but realize for the most part both of these devices can do a lot of the same things with perhaps different software. The two biggest differences I see physically are the rear facing camera in the ipad and the keyboard on the chromebook. The Chromebook multi user experience is better. The other large factor is TCO. What is the total cost of the device and how long will it last with the current OS. Here is our Districts initial thoughts: http://goo.gl/OGP9o
