We all know that as students progress through their school years, their homework load increases. Fifteen year olds may look longingly back to when they were ten and had a whole lot less work to do at home. According to the handy infographic below, the average 6-8 year old spends 9 hours per week studying, vs. 14 hours per week for college students. That doesn’t seem so awful, especially when you consider that the average student spends 4.39 hours per day watching television. Via Alfredo Calderon, Gust MEES Delete the scoop?

Over the years Google has moved to "fight spam" at the same time Google's business development team has pushed to "make spam." The combination of those 2 (& pulling in additional non-link relevancy signals) has lowered the value of organic links. Via Level343 Delete the scoop?

Right now you’re looking at a website. Okay you’re actually looking at a computer which is displaying a website. Stop being so picky.
So what actually goes into the creation of a website? Into the actual running of the Internet itself? I’m not talking about the people wfriting the content or designing web pages, etc. I’m talking about the hardware that it takes to keep your favorite sites and LOLcats humming right along on the Internet superhighway.
Thanks to an infographic by Broadband Choices, it’s now easier to understand the mess system behind each website. Enjoy! Via Gust MEES Delete the scoop?

This is fascinating whether you're an iPhone fan or not, it's pure genius and we certainly will miss Steve Jobs. "The ongoing talk about the iPhone is probably divided into two camps. Some people are for it, and some are against it. Ever since this groundbreaking new smartphone was announced and launched, people have been arguing about whether it is actually the best one, the first one or even the most successful one." ****What we know for sure is that the iPhone, no matter what generation it is, is a massively popular smartphone. It’s been sold in ridiculous amounts, and with ****the recent news that the iPhone 4S sold 4 million smartphones in its 3 first days of release, you can’t help but agree that it is a hot gadget for people to own. Today, things are different, everything is on the internet almost all the time, so we can live with no worries to lose something we want to download latter. Google also has a strong impact on our memory, because you don’t have to remember where was that page, ebook or program you need, you don’t have to remember everything, not anymore!
