HOW SCOOP IT CHANGED MY SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING STRATEGY BY ACCIDENT

As I began this process of building my "brand" .. creating my online image and my professional presentation, I had a lot to figure out.  I created my first website, facebook and Linked In account.  I made the decision to "market" myself a Lite Feet dancer, if you read my bio it is one of the accomplishments in my life for which I am very proud.  The problem there was no single source of information of LITE FEET DANCE.   My introduction to Scoop It was perfect timing, it gave me an opportunity to create a LITE FEET SCOOP -- I had been dancing since I was 14 and I had come to know all the founders and the main Lite Feet websites, the history of Lite Feet dance,  the multitude of YouTube Channels, websites, facebook pages and Lite Feet Sound Cloud accounts, and I felt a great responsibility to curate and create the first and only LITE FEET SCOOP.  Creating this scoop gave me a link to provide as a reference to my own "LIte Feet Dancer" identity but also was a unique opportunity to curate, what I believe to be, an important, relevent and for the most part unnoticed dance phenom and YouTube Sensation that is  Lite Feet Dance.  My efforts to high lite the incredible talent of these young dancers has been an honor and I will continue to add to scoop as new content becomes available.

DLite Scoops Lite Feet Dance:

http://www.scoop.it/t/lite-feet-dance ;

I then created several other relevent scoops for my story, and I created them in the hopes that sharing my journey would hopefully help others with similar journeys.

SCOOPS --  I began using Scoop when I was defining myself a LITE FEET DANCER.  There was no single source of info about Lite Feet dance, a NYC Born Battle dance phenom and YouTube Sensation.  I created LITE FEET SCOOP TO reference for my own resume but also to provide anyone interested a link to the multitude of YOUTUBE Channels, Sound Cloud and personal sites dedicated to this unique art form and the talented dancers who participate.

Report: Students On Facebook Study 10 Times Less Than Non-Users | "#Google+, +1, Facebook, Twitter, Scoop, Foursquare, Empire Avenue, Klout and more" | Scoop.it

We all know that as students progress through their school years, their homework load increases. Fifteen year olds may look longingly back to when they were ten and had a whole lot less work to do at home. According to the handy infographic below, the average 6-8 year old spends 9 hours per week studying, vs. 14 hours per week for college students. That doesn’t seem so awful, especially when you consider that the average student spends 4.39 hours per day watching television.

Hackers Who Attacked Twitter, Facebook, Apple May Have 'Hundreds' More Victims

Hackers Who Attacked Twitter, Facebook, Apple May Have 'Hundreds' More Victims | "#Google+, +1, Facebook, Twitter, Scoop, Foursquare, Empire Avenue, Klout and more" | Scoop.it
The hackers who attacked Twitter, Facebook and Apple employees likely claimed many more victims, an expert said Wednesday. But exactly how many remains unknown.

His site, which has about 200,000 registered users, is "the most widely read dedicated iOS developer forum," he said. Most visitors are software developers who discuss technical issues around building apps for the iPhone and iPad.

Not everyone who visited his site was hacked. His own computer, for example, was not infected, he said.

Sefferman said the hacker appeared to remove the malware from the site on Jan. 30. But on Wednesday, the site had not been taken down and experts warned users not to visit it because it may still infect their computers.

The website that caused the hacks was identified as iPhoneDevSDK.

In an interview Wednesday, the website's owner, Ian Sefferman, said he was never contacted by Facebook or investigators looking into the attacks and only learned the site hosted malicious software, known as malware, when he was notified Tuesday by a reporter at the tech blog AllThingsD.

Sefferman said multiple other sites on the Internet also hosted the malware, though he did not provide details on which sites.
