Na een successtart van de Gardameerkrant in 2012 heeft het team ook in 2013 weer haar uiterste best gedaan om een zo compleet mogelijke krant neer te zetten.
Waar zij in 2012 nog maar een uitgave hadden, zijn zij nu uitgebreid naar twee. Een uitgave in juni - juli en een in augustus - september. De krant is nu op ruim 900 punten overal rond het meer en in Verona gratis verkrijgbaar.
Het is alweer drie jaar geleden dat Fiat de nieuw ontwikkelde Uno lanceerde op de Braziliaanse markt. Wat een kaskraker moest worden, werd ook daadwerkelijk een gigantisch verkoopsucces. Fiat wist in 2010 dus een waardige opvolger voor de oude Mille op de markt te zetten en bouwde mede dankzij de Uno vervolgens haar marktleidende positie in Brazilië verder uit. De basis voor dit belangrijke model kennen we inmiddels als Panda in Europa. De Uno was de eerste volledig in Brazilië ontwikkelde Fiat.

Now, I will admit to being slightly disappointed by this one. I came across it (when the company tweeted me) about two days after I found the fish above and it was only afterwards that I realised that this is made from plastic and not from, you know yer actual, parmesan cheese rind. I appreciate that the manufacturers thought there might be issues of smell and durability with cheese, but if they can do it with a dried fish then who knows where a bit of cheese rind could take you? After all, I’ve got several in my freezer which I chuck into soups and things and it seems pretty hardwearing to me. Anyway it costs €200 and while I think its first place is probably in a restaurant, it could also work in a domestic kitchen and would certainly be a talking point. De klassieke Fiat Multipla is één van onze favoriete klassiek Fiats met de motor achterin. De vernieuwde opzet destijds en de uitstraling met bergen karakter zorgen voor veel hebberigheid als we er eentje tegenkomen. We zien de laatste jaren dat de Multipla steeds meer erkenning krijgt als we de marktprijzen bekijken.
Dit exemplaar staat in Amerika en is direct te herkennen aan zijn ‘US-spec’ koplampen. De kleurencombinatie staat heerlijk en de ‘Mul’ is compleet gerestaureerd. Daarbij is het motorblok niet helemaal origineel gemaakt want er is van alles aan de techniek aangepast waarbij de verkoop meerdere keren de naam ‘Abarth’ laat vallen: “Freshly built 600 engine w/ a 903cc crank and rods, connected to custom 817 pistons. The cylinder head has reworked combustion chambers with oversized valves. The exhaust ports are enlarged to 850 size. The gearbox is fresh as well, w/ an Abarth “Double-Bubble” Ring and Pinion (4.55:1). Both the engine and transaxle were painstakingly built by a renowned rear-engined FIAT Abarth specialist.”
Ciao tutti ontdekt culinair paradijs Langhe en Roero, de zuidelijke heuvels van Piemonte. We zoeken met een snuffelhond truffels en proeven o.a. hazelnootpasta. Als Piemonte het paradijs is voor foodies, dan zijn de heuvels van de Langhe en Roero in het zuidwesten van de regio het kersje op de taart, het neusje van de zalm. Eigenlijk is het in drie woorden samen te vatten waar dit gebied voor staat: vino, tartufo, noccioli – wijn (barolo, barbera, dolcetto, barbaresco), truffel en hazelnoten.
De druiven, de truffels en de noten: ze groeien op de heuvelruggen en in de bosrijke gebieden van de Langhe, zoals de streek gemakshalve wordt genoemd. De wijnstokken, struiken en bomen worden afgewisseld door idyllische dorpjes, kastelen, kerken en abdijen – een sprookjeslandschap om bij weg te dromen, dat in ieder seizoen weer andere kleuren laat zien.

This is the best baloney sandwich you will ever have. When I don't know what to eat, or worse, I have waited to long to eat, the most classic of Roman street food, Pizza Mortadella, comes to my rescue. My favorite come from the Antica Forno di Campo di Fiori and tastes best if sitting on the long travertine bench in the Piazza Farnese.

De magie zit ‘m namelijk in het wegklapbare achterste gedeelte plus het feit dat we over B-segment spreken, terwijl de ruimte in cijfers juist een klasse hoger zit.

U weet waarschijnlijk dat de nieuwe paus Franciscus heet. Zijn zelfgekozen naam is een verwijzing naar Franciscus van Assisi die leefde van 1181 – 1226. Hij nam deze naam aan omdat Sint Fransiscus zich het lot van de armen aantrok. Paus Franciscus brengt op 4 oktober, de feestdag van de Heilige Franciscus, een bezoek aan Assisi. De stad in Umbriëis voor veel katholieken misschien nog wel belangrijker dan Rome. Michael Magielse maakte een bedevaart naar de eeuwenoude stad en schreef daarover het volgende verhaal:

Vinification: Grape picking begins in the first ten days of September. lt is made by hands by selecting the best bunches and gathering them in small boxes which immediately transferred into the cellar are destemmed and softly pressed. To be must obtained is kept for 16 hours at a10° C temperature to induce natural clarification. Then it is poured into temperature controlled stainless steel tanks where the fermentation occurs at atemperature which is not exceeding 18° C.
The wine is then put in tanks for a period of 90 days to perform "the spumantizzazione" through the Charmat Mariotti method.
Sensory analysis: Pale straw yellow colour with green apple scent with a fine and persistent perlage.
Olfactory it represents a successful match between fruity and floral sensations. Into the mouth it is pleasant with citrus hints.

De Grappa wordt op ambachtelijke wijze en met passie en vakmanschap gemaakt, door de meester distilleerder zelf. Sinds jaren gepassioneerd en een absolute kenner op dit gebied. Waar de andere distilleerderijen over gingen op geindustrialiseerde methodes heeft Ragona het vakmanschap behouden, als enige op Sicilië!! La Dolce Vita
De nieuwe LINDA.107 La Dolce Vita staat vol met verhalen over mannen die nog bij hun moeder wonen, een interview met de minnares van Berlusconi en vrouwen met enorme borsten. Bekijk snel de backstagevideo die we maakten bij de covershoot.
Sinds 2010 is er een Fiat 500 voor fans van open rijden, de 500C. De cabriolet met zijn kenmerkende dakconstructie is een behoorlijk succes en op het moment zelfs de meest succesvolle cabriolet van Nederland. Inmiddels zijn er meer dan 4.000 exemplaren verkocht en daarmee is het de best verkochte cabriolet van het land.
Okee, je kunt vraagtekens zetten bij het ‘cabriolet-aspect’ van de 500C maar feit is dat je een behoorlijk cabriogevoel hebt als je met de 500C onderweg bent. Ook wij hadden in het begin onze twijfels maar na de nodige testweken met exemplaren is er maar één conclusie mogelijk: de Fiat 500C is de ideale combinatie van open rijden en dagelijks gemak. Nee, we beweren niet dat het hetzelfde gevoel teweeg brengt als het rijden met, bijvoorbeeld, een Fiat barchetta maar we ervaren iedere keer dat het dak vaker open gaat dan bij welke cabriolet ook.
5. Piazza Maggiore
Het centrum van Bologna zijn eigenlijk twee pleinen: Piazza Maggiore en Piazza del Nettuno. De eerste van deze word omringd door zuilengangen. Ook bevind zicht hier het archeologische museum, de Basilica di San Petrino en de Palazzo dei Notai.
4. Archeologisch museum
Het archeologisch museum van Bologna heeft een grote collectie van prehistorische en Etruskische vondsten uit de omgeving van Bologna. Ze worden hier allemaal tentoongesteld. Het misschien wel belangrijkste stuk van het museum is het hoofd van ‘Athena Lemnia’, deze is op de Griekse afdeling van het museum te vinden.

Annibale and Ugo carried on the production of shoes after the death of their father in 1957, changed location several times for their laboratory, until 1965, when it was inaugurated what today is the base of the Calzaturificio Franceschetti.
In 1983, with the transition to the third generation, the current company was established under the name of Calzaturificio “Franceschetti Srl. The company’s partners are the three children of Annibale.
Today some of Annibale’s grandchildren work at the company. This is the fourth generation.

De Scudo is Fiats middengrote besteller die met zijn multifunctionele karakter voor flinke verkopen zorgt voor Fiat Professional.
