In this tutorial, we’re going to create a simple web page which works in all modern browsers as well as IE8, IE7, IE6 and possibly earlier versions. Delete the scoop?

I still wanted to use the responsive design, because without it, we would have to develop multiple versions of the same layout that a user would be locked into, and they would have to choose a different version layout if their website ever changed dimensions. Delete the scoop?

I came across the need to make a background image responsive, keeping the same aspect ratio at different widths. The limitation was that we couldn’t change any HTML or back end code so changing it to a simple imgwas out of the question.
