The Eternal Con takes place every year round about Pentecost in Burg Stahleck, a castle-turned-youth hostel overlooking the Rhine. We've had a nice surprise upon arriving there: the castle has been refurbished!
Introduction of Today’s guest Rob Heinsoo (Yaaay, Kermit hand waving), or to be more accurate, introduction by Rob of the Panel and production team.
Some disquisitions on the pronunciation of Heinsoo, Richard, O’Brien and Love, only one of which is in any way difficult. For the record, Heinsoo rhymes with,’ain’t so’. Some unfortunate comments are made on alternate meanings for the abbreviation MOB, which my delicate sensibilities will not allow me to repeat here.
A Marvelous Roleplaying System The book includes everything you need to have to start a campaign in Glorantha: basic overview of the setting; character creation; magic rules for spirit magic, rune magic, sorcery, and Lunar magic; seven complete cult write ups; heroquesting rules and explanations; monster descriptions; themes of Glorantha; and even an introductory adventure that will take your heroes on a heroquest into the Underworld!
Greg Stafford, the father of the fantasy world of Glorantha, of the Pendragon role-playing game, of the Prince Valiant role-playing game, of the D6 System, and of mucho more rpg-related goodness, is probably the most influential rpg designer alive...
The look of the Sartarites and Praxians really gets to be on display in our forthcoming books. These are their own peoples, and it is wonderful to be working with artists like Jan Pospisil who help bring them to life.
TradeTalk was a (now apparently defunct) dead tree Gloranthan magazine published by the RuneQuest Gesellschaft eV. I have skimmed through my collection of TradeTalk magazines just before leaving for the Eternal Con, and I was so impressed I decided to publish a comprehensive index to the 17 issues of this German contribution to Gloranthan fandom.
I usually do not blog about podcasts. Not that I don't like them; on the contrary; when the recording has been done properly and the sound is nice, I really enjoy them. It's also nice to discover the real voice of the authors of our industry/hobby.
After the news back in February that RuneQuest 6 would be available in German, your favourite blog can now reveal that HeroQuest 2 will also be available in Hochdeutsch, and probably even earlier than RQ6, since its publisher, Humakt e.V., has...
We at Moon Design Publishing are proud to announce that our eight current titles in the Stafford Library are available for purchase at Lulu.com. You can search for Glorantha, or go directly to our Lulu storefront.
Ok….even though we are many days past Resurrection Day now, here’s the Good News about Hearts in Glorantha. First off I’ve collected the first 5 issues into a Hearts in Glorantha Vol 1, issues 1-5 Collected.
ladynerevar:Jeff posted this over on the official g+ page, so I thought I’d give you guys a look, too. Another map I’m working on for Moon Design and Glorantha, this time covering the southern Lunar Empire.
