Like Henry Jenkins I am "deeply skeptical" of the push to use "badges" for learning. We may want to do some limited "experiments" around this notion... but I wonder what happened to the notion that we learn from experience. Period. Not all learning experiences are equal, however. Some are better than others. So how do we recognize when learning has been achieved.
