The site includes domestic as well as international incidents ranging  from 1970-2012. The site also includes an interactive globe and map marking the frequency and location of attacks. As part of the "Women Are Heroes" project, artist "JR" traveled to various locations taking photographs of the local women and then posted the photos in the cities and villages where they made the most sense. While in Kenya the photos were printed on waterproof material and applied to the rooftops of the womens' houses to help protect the leaky roofs.

Several groups collaborated with the Andy Warhol Museum to extract Warhol's digital artwork from obsolete floppy disks. Using new technology integrated with old technology, a student computer club was able to make the files visible again.
