Kenya's last election in 2007 was followed by widespread violence. A railway that was hard-hit gives artists permission to spray-paint a "peace train" in advance of the ballot on March 4.

Because of the violence that has broke out since the 2007 in the Kenyan elections, a railway company hired several street artist to paint images/symbols of peace to promote positive changes for the elections during this month.

One of my favorite street artists is Jan Vormann. He is a forward thinker and came up with a way of filling the cracks of crumbling cities by using Legos. This video shows a day in the life of his art. He carries around a bag of the little colorful blocks and looks for cracks that need filling.
