Living within the wildlife reserve you'll be working on everything from anti-poaching patrols and wildlife surveys to helping with visiting school groups, planting trees with the kids and making fuel briquettes and eco stoves in the local villages. We are in desperate need of volunteers to work on a number of our projects and we have a special placement offer for volunteers arriving between now and September 2013, staying for a minimum of 1 month.
Kuti is just an hour and a half from Malawi's capital city, Lilongwe, and 30 minutes from Senga Bay, just before the Salima town. The reserve is a haven for wildlife, from big mammals like giraffe, zebra, sable and impala through to the hundreds of species of birds and the habitats are quite spectacular, including the best spot for sunsets in Malawi!
