Will 'Mistress Europe' Show the American the Door?   By Finian Cunningham

Enrique Ferro's insight:

German Chancellors like Willy Brandt and Gerhard Schroeder, who tried to normalise relations with Moscow, were thwarted by American (and British) mischief-making. Then there were the NATO Gladio covert terror operations that committed false flag atrocities against European citizens, which were duly misattributed to the Soviet Union. There is no reason to believe that such covert ops have been terminated, as in the current Ukrainian turmoil, as a means of keeping the Europeans frightened and disposed to "trusting" the Americans for "protection". Keeping the Americans in, the Russians out, and the Germans down.

The Global Stakes of the Ukraine Crisis. The Failure of Western Civilization

The Global Stakes of the Ukraine Crisis. The Failure of Western Civilization | Global politics | Scoop.it
War party bigotry and hate may be enough to drive neo-Nazis leading Kiev in the Ukraine civil war. But the reverse blame of Putin and Russia by corporate media and states has a deeper interest. It ...
Enrique Ferro's insight:

A big pay-off matrix looms in Ukraine for US-led arms corporations and military services, agribusiness and GMO’s, speculator funds on debts and currency, monopoly providers of privatized social services, Big Oil frackers for newly discovered rich deposits, junk food suppliers like Poroshenko in US-frankenfood alliance, and – last but not least – the IMF money party waging a war of dispossession by financial means.

OpEdNews Quicklink: Why Sex Feels Good and Other Fascinating Facts About the Science of Touch | Global politics | Scoop.it
I have this annoying tendency -- a tic, really -- to sit and stroke the same piece of hair over and over again throughout the day as I work. I run the same half-inch-wide collection of strands at the bottom layer of the back of my head between my right ring and middle fingers, my thumb tracing beneath, for hours every day. It's awful, but it helps me concentrate -- it also feels good. But if ever someone else tries to repeat the movement on my head, it never feels right; usually the sensation is

Enrique Ferro's insight:

The US means to lead the international struggle against ISIS, but it has turned down the Egyptian demand to the West to join against ISIS in Libya. It seems the US prefers to leave Libya in utter misrule and chaos, as NATO left it after they destroyed the country three years ago.

Egypt is calling the West’s bluff over its phony war on ISIS

Egypt is calling the West’s bluff over its phony war on ISIS | Global politics | Scoop.it
Western states are trumpeting ISIS as the latest threat to civilisation, claiming total commitment to their defeat, and using the group’s conquests in Syria and Iraq as a pretext for deepening their own military involvement in the Middle East.
Enrique Ferro's insight:

Gaddafi gave a prophetic interview with French newspaper Le Monde du Dimanche, in which he stated: “I want to make myself understood: if one threatens [Libya], if one seeks to destabilize [Libya], there will be chaos, Bin Laden, armed factions. That is what will happen. You will have immigration, thousands of people will invade Europe from Libya. And there will no longer be anyone to stop them. Bin Laden will base himself in North Africa and will leave Mullah Omar in Afghanistan and Pakistan. You will have Bin Laden at your door step.”

Enrique Ferro's insight:

For example, in the 2008 Ossetian war, Russia is said to have begun the war. What preceded Russia's invasion - Georgia's massive bombing of South Ossetia's capitol of Tskhinval(i) with inaccurate GRAD missiles, the killing of one hundred civilians and 19 Russia peacekeepers in the GRAD bombings, and Georgian troops' invasion of South Ossetia and crazed rampage through Tskhinval(i) - is left out of the picture. Similarly now, accounts of "Russia's war in Ukraine" and "Russia's invasion of Ukraine" leave out prior events: . Moreover, the nature of Russia's intervention in the Donbass is overstated and 'evidence' is often shoddy and even falsified by Kiev and taken as gospel truth without question by US government and media.

The U.S.-Backed Government In Ukraine Is Starting To Lose The Civil War

The U.S.-Backed Government In Ukraine Is Starting To Lose The Civil War | Global politics | Scoop.it
The mainstream media in the U.S. is being very quiet about this, but the truth is that the U.S.-backed government in Kiev is starting to lose the civil war.
Enrique Ferro's insight:

Well then, let them arm Kiev. All the weapons will finally be confiscated by the victorious rebels as "trophies", as they have been doing so far. The Ukrainian army can never defeat the Novorossians for the simple fact that the latter are highly motivated to defend their lives, their families, and their land, while the Ukrainian army behaves like an invading army with a minus: the soldiers loath this war, they don't want to kill the Donbass people and they are only prevented from going back home by the Nazi battalions and volunteers who force them "to fight or die". Even the attempt to mobilize hundreds of thousands of fresh cannon fodder is rejected by the Ukrainians, who flee or resist the recruiters. The best the Junta in Kiev can do is stop listening to the US hawks and to stick to the Minsk agreements and reform the state into a federal structure, and to recognize the ethnic and linguistic diversity of Ukraine, instead of continuing to impose the forced Ukrainization on all the citizens and trying to achieve the South-Eastern ethnic cleansing of the Russian and Russian-speaking populations.
