Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?

"To be authentic one must be "awake," meaning you have the ability to understand who you are"
How do you perceive and interpret what you see and feel ? What are your spontaneous responses to others ? How do you behave under various conditions ? What makes you truly happy or unhappy? Do you follow your intuitions ? How do you make decisions ? How do you manage your fears etc.
All those mental mechanisms are built both at conscious and unconscious levels and the more you know them the more authentic you can be.
You can access to your inner voice and energy by making some introspection. For some people it is about spirituality, for others it is a dramatic, even traumatic event in their life that forces them to take time to discover what it means to be true to themselves.
Some leaders have discovered their true self through coaching, others thanks to a mentor, some by participating to a humanitarian mission abroad etc. There is no magical formula to find your inner energy but this article give some good suggestions to foster your inner energy.
