Today it was reported that Lil Wayne was out at Cash Money (now I doubt this really but all other purposes we’ll go with it). In the past few weeks it’s been rumored that Wayne was no longer happy with Cash Money. Wayne really, you’re not happy with Cash Money (the label that held you down while you were away in the pokie). The label that took you from being just another rapper to one of Hip-hop’s phenoms. The label (please be mindful of this) that others left never to be heard from again in hip hop daily trends (Manny Fresh, Juvenile. The rest of the HotBoys, Bangledesh, shall I continue…). Wayne please, I know you haven’t allowed one of these industry middlemen to get in your ear with that “where’s your money bullshit”.
Didn’t Cash Money sponsor your Young Money project that has now become a huge success (Drake, Nicki, I’m sure you heard of those names). So, whatever ya’ll squabblin about, you and these men Slim and Baby, the guys who made sure you didn’t become a New Orleans casualty, couldn’t a, find common ground behind closed doors. #Really.
Wayne don’t listen to the middlemen. Noone, (#FRFR) has the consecutive radio juice that Cash Money has had in the business for years (the other labels are stunting and you know it). I mean is this a Michael Jackson moment and now you plan to shoot to the top of POP stratosphere with another label. Are you willing to take that chance?
Big Sean said “He didn’t care about no 2Cents that’s not on the bill” and you probably should take that counsel into mind as you determine your future (please don’t listen to the middlemen, make your own choice).
Really media folks are running this story because no one on Love And Hip Hop is having a massive crazy fight (where’s Joseline when you need her) and it’s a slow week. Please, Lil Wayne, take that into account
