You know it used to be time that youtube could and would blow up an indie artist (Amir, Pentatonix, Jessica Sanchez, Vanjess ect…) and over time I would run across that great voice. Well I did that and recently I ran across William Singe (boy this new artist is so smooth). Looking like one of the children of Benetton this singer comes off so multicultural that it seems that he can target any audience he chooses (he really can sing..)
There was a time when youtube would present artist like this to the world and we would love their covers as much as the stars that performed them as singles. Well folks this cat is for real. William Singe is the truth and when you hear his voice (hopefully on youtube), you too will have the opportunity to enjoy this great new talent. Check out our GetAtMe3PcSnack ft William Singe, we know #YouGonnaLoveThis
Scattered rain and foreboding clouds could not deter the third edition of SFX's Tomorrowland stateside spin-off, TomorrowWorld, from shining in Georgia's Chattahoochee Hills. With a diverse lineup of dance music's finest performing on nine stages, the eclectic demands and distinct tastes of festival-goers far exceeded expectations.
Ok our cuts this week had some surprises. We got 3 great cut this week that we like. We started out with the new Prince “X’s and O’s” (this is great song #EasyHit if market strategy is executed correctly). Here’s the stats:
Prince “X’s and O’s 52.6 (grade C+) Prince got this score due to his indie status and the market strategy is questionable (the regular YouTube blocks and making it hard for dj’s to get it ect). Other than that this is a flat out hit.. This is a great song for Prince and hopefully urban and urban AC will give this record a listen. As I said although Princes label didn’t make this song real available to DJ’s (Why no one knows...) But like I said “X’s and O’S is a hit…
Lil Dicky “Save Dat Money” 63.8 (grade B-). Lil Dicky (and 300 Music) has another hit. Fetty Wap and Rich Homie lend their star juice to help this cut launch into the market. This ode to anti material hiphop is not only funny (Lil Dicky is a comedian) but it will also be a dancefloor favorite….
Christina Milian “Do It” 53.6 (grade C+) ft Lil Wayne Man this is a great cut by Christina #FRFR. This cut is a real super ballad. This song should pull strong female demos and if promoted right this will be a great comeup record for Christina and Lil Wayne. It will be up to radio… (don’t be surprised if churban radio takes this record #TheyShould )
On this GetAtMe MiniMixxx we spotlight the new Janet Jackson “Burn It Up” ft Missy Elliot and a new dance artist LoNa “You Said”. This new Janet cut is hot #DjAlert and LoNa new cut is just LoNa riding an Accapella on a house beat. LoNa has a new single coming but she just really fit on this mix. Be on the lookout. #LetGo #HeyMrDj
*Lil Dicky “Sav Dat Money” this is a great hook and beat #DjAlert…. 34.0 (grade B). Strong cut for this new artist. Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan gave allstar performances.
*Drake “Back To Back” this is a solid hit #GreatBeatAndBars ...36.3 (grade A). This cut such a strong mix cut. This energy is crazy.
*Meek Mill “Check” great energy on this track #HeyDj …. 35.2 (grade B). Meek’s “Check” is solid. It’s got great Break intros and crazy energy
*2Pac/BeatMaKanixxx “Something In The Air” Pac is always a hit #2Pac ….. 31.0 (grade B). How can you miss with Pac? We just just put a riding beat under it.
*Rick Ross “Babies Cry” this surprise cut might be the real single #DjAlert … 29.2 (grade B) Don’t let this score fool you. This is a hit. The low score came from its early, that’s all. This is a hit but with no promotions it’ll just be a dj favorite
*Rae Sremmurd “Come Get Her” man we called this cut 6 months ago #frfr … 31.3 (grade B). This hook is a great break intro. I love this cut.
(45 pts is the highest score. Beats are judged on a 9 category metric.)
When I first heard “Check Run It” man that cut hit home (#NowThatsAHit). TI once again uses his home grown charm to spin out another hit.(real dj’s are gonna love this track). TI has a sure winner with this one because this one’s gonna move through the streets, mixtapes, the clubs and should wind up on radio.

It's a slimy art to put hip-hop's swagger-fueled materialism on trial as an outsider. No matter how earnest, learned, and well-intentioned the resulting song is: Preach fiscal responsibility to rap fans and you might as well write a track about pulling up your pants.
