USAID projects and other implementing organizations provide training to farmers and other parties along the agricultural value chain on a wide range of topics. This toolkit is designed to help these projects and organizations use low-cost video to augment the traditional agricultural development activities and extension services they are providing. The toolkit is divided into the following six components:
- How is low-cost video currently being used in agricultural development?
- Is low-cost video an appropriate way to achieve our objectives?
- How can we create our own agricultural extension videos?
- What is the best way to disseminate our videos?
- How can we track the impact that our videos are having on farmers?
- What are the technical considerations we need to keep in mind?
