“Working in the world of human resources and recruiting is NOT easy. It’s challenging but never boring as I navigate a sea of candidate questions, employee closed door meetings, corralling managers all while wrapping my arms around the bigger picture, how what I do translate into savings and value for the business I support with a little compliance sprinkled in for good measure”

No matter what industry the hiring of people in the human resources department is usually very similar, with all businesses looking for hardworking, self-motivated and successful people. Most large companies have a quite a complex interviewing process, and although still quite a significant process, the hotel and resort industries are definitely easier getting into at the bottom level. I believe that human resource teams should be looking at work ethic and looking at a broader view of people, and not just a piece of paper, this is why I believe multiple face to face interviews, even with some practice sessions to access interviewees ability vital to the human resource hiring process. Online job search engines are now a very popular tool for both individuals looking for work and also businesses looking for employees, and there is a great deal of work needed to ensure the proper management of communication between online engines and businesses themselves, because they want certain kind of people applying, there is no point using sites that will not supply their desired kind of workers.
