Yet another excellent presentation on the five geographic regions of Georgia.  Although I have included two presentations already, I wanted to also include this one because it contains pictures of the wildlife and plant life that you would expect to see if each region.  The author also included all the necessary facts about where each is located and may other important facts.

This is from a wonderful site called mixbook that allows the user to create slide show type books on any topic.  You can also order it as an actual book :)  This book in particular covers each for the five regions of Georgia and displays them on a map to show location.  They provide several pictures for visual reference as well as facts.  One thing I liked about this resource in particular was that they also provide information about the major rivers in Georgia and how many of them form borders between us and our neighboring states.

This is an online version of Jeopardy that is specific to Georgia's Geographic Regions.  A FANTASTIC resource for any student that would like to quiz themselves on the regions.  It is also a great resource for teachers and allows the user to download and edit the template to tweak it to the region in which you are located.

This is an excellent resource to quickly review each of the five regions of Georgia.  The authors include a general map showing the location of each regions and then give details about them including the vegetation, climate, agriculture, industry, and natural resources.  They also indicate which major cities, bodies of water, and tourist attractions are located in the region.  This is a great overview of the geographic regions!

This is another link from GeorgiaINFO and gives a brief description of Georgia's geography.  The reason I chose this link is beacuse it contains links to photo galleries for each geographic region of Georgia.  Scroll to the bottom right of this page and you will find them.  Take a look at all of the pictures to get a good idea of what each region looks like.

This website is for the North Augusta Heritage Trail just over our border with South Carolina.  The website gives a detailed history of the area and the impact of the Fall Line on the region.  I also chose this as an important link because the picture on this page shows how the Fall Line is not exclusive to Georgia and actually starts in the northern states.
