This graphic shows intellectual property and its impact on US economy. This is such a difference compared to the other countries in North and South America we studied in these units. Many of them are so reliant on natural resource extraction and agriculture, it really shows the dichotomy.

This was crazy. A gas crater artificially made by the Soviets that is set on fire. It is a tourist attraction in Turkmenistan, and is proof of the natural gas that exists throughout much of Central Asia.
