Now that the three political parties making up Zimbabwe's unwieldy coalition government have settled their differences over the country's new constitution, the stage is set for elections probably in the second half of 2013.
Mike Davies's insight:

He misses the real point (based on the logic or power) of a big parliament which is to provide patronage for one's supporters. If it was really about having an efficient body to craft and enact legislation, a country the size of Zimbabwe needs a single chamber of maybe 50 legislators elected through proportional representation on party lists.
