When kids are looking for toys, they know what they want. Everyone knows girls usually like opink, princess, and dress up while boys like dark colors and action figures. when stores do the color themes for boys and girls, it dosent have to mean that this is only for boys or pink is for girls, but when a girl wants a action figure or especially a boy wants a doll everyone would jump to the conclusion of the child being

"weird" or "different". people would even go as far as saying that the child could possibly be a homosexual for wanting to play with a different toy that was supposed to be for a girl. the stores new arrangement is now having all toys mixed and not as gender divided. The kids now dont have to go down "their aisle". Now everyone can go to the same area and not be looked at differently.

this idea is good and makes it easier for the girls who maybe like Star Wars or the boys who dress up, no child should be judged off what toys they play with, but the color of genders have made it so that there is a clear line on what is for boys and what is for girls. making this store can make peoplethink of a color and not automatically associate it with a male or female
