Rachael Gray's comment, June 25, 2013 12:38 AM
Seriously, who does that? Your parents are supposed to love you unconditionally, not matter what. To think that I have to be on guard when around my parents because they might shoot me is crazy. This is one of those cases where you wish he didn’t kill himself. I would have loved to know why in the world he would not only shoot to kill both his daughters but to also kill himself and with three grandkids in the house. I couldn’t imagine what they must now endure having no mother. This is just an utterly sad story. I hope they are able to investigate it more and find out the motives of this man.

I'm glad to see that the man did not get away with the crime. To force yourself onto another human being is wrong and should not be tolerated. The fact that he may now be HIV positive makes me feel that he has adequately been punished for his violent act. Now the prison sentence must match up in order to complete his sentence for the crime he committed.

This is a classic case of barriers being put up that prevent women from receiving their right to have an abortion. This is similar to what I am currently researching for my paper. Prisons are doing the same thing in order to prevent women from accessing the proper facilities in which they are to receive an abortion. Texas just seems to be doing so on a state level rather than a prison one.

There seems to be a similar story happening every week now. Female teachers seem to be using their position in order to coerce students into fulfilling their sexual desires. This type of behavior is expected more from males than females yet such does not seem to be the case these days. I'm just glad to see that she was ultimately caught and will be punished for her actions.

This is an awful, sad story. This story shows exactly how heartless anyone can be, not only females, but also the youth of today. It is sad to think that people so young could hurt their friends so badly, and that some people that you thought to be friends could actually turn out killing you. Chilling to think about!

While I am not sure how this relates too much into the "gender" class, I can see how this is a problem, and I can definitely see how this could, and probably already has, ended up as a discrimination case. For reasons need be untold, women will, obviously, take longer in the restroom more commonly than men will, and I do not think that that is wrong. While I understand what point the company is trying to make, there are several reasons for an employee to need to use the restroom not only for obvious reasons, but also for less obvious reasons, such as to collect oneself after a customer was rude, or after a fight with a coworker, or otherwise, an employee may need a place where they can go to just have a moment. It would be interesting to follow this case, and see where it goes.
