Duolingo is most likely a familiar name to those of you working in the field of language learning. I find the concept really interesting: learn a language as you translate the web. You also have the opportunity to peer assess and be part of a large community of language learners.

 

Socrative is a web-based application and can be implemented for fornative assessment.

 

With Play Brighter you can design missions to send your students on. So a means of engaging them actively in the learning process.

 

Browse through the list there might be a tool that is suitable for your teaching  context.
