iPhone 5 at fever pitch according to Google Trends

iPhone 5 at fever pitch according to Google Trends | Gadgets I lust for | Scoop.it

Google Trends is an interesting indicator to watch to fact check rumors and try to anticipate. I've used it before and it proved very interesting.

So what does it tell us? Interestingly, the iPhone 4S was already rumored as the iPhone 5 (few saw the 4S coming...) so this graph allows to compare the anticipation for both the 4S and the potential 5.

Bottom line: we're currently standing at exactly the same volume level we were 1 year ago, when the iPhone 4S was launched on October 4.

Wanna bet?

Still looking for a good drawing pen for my iPad. I've tried several and all are good except that the palm and fingers can interfere with their performance. This one claims that once engaged, the palms and fingers won't be an issue.

A cautious move? Why Apple Is Working on an iWatch and Not iGlasses

A cautious move? Why Apple Is Working on an iWatch and Not iGlasses | Gadgets I lust for | Scoop.it
Why would Apple want to build an iWatch and not a competitor to Google Glass? People are already comfortable with something electronic on their wrist.
gdecugis's insight:

Nick Bilton thinks the answer lies with the comfort zone of people and how impresseawesome will be by wearing glasses. So the move would be driven by caution. Maybe the Newton syndrom?
