I attended a talk given by Mark Crookston (@markival) from the National Library of NZ today on this very topic, so finding this blog post was timely. Mark's message was: calm down, we can't keep them all for posterity (websites).
Mark went onto say that measured decisions should be made about what digital content is kept & what is passed over. It is hard to know what will be of interest to users in the future, let alone those of the present. Delete the scoop?
