The Main advancements of technology

The main technologies that are most likely going to continue to be developed within the next 5-10 years.

Aidan McMillan's insight:

A lot of these articles seem to have a few things in common.

Robotics, Health, and Space Travel seem to be the obvious advancements for the near future.

Robotics have been a massive goal since before even computers were created. The creation of something that can someday even think for itself will be a massive achievement.

Health is an ever-expanding industry, and one that is becoming more and more automated. The technology that hospitals use now is amazing, and with thousands upon thousands of diseases that can't be cured yet, technology will continue to advance in regards to health.

Since man wanted to reach the moon, our curiosity and desire to discover has pushed us to delve into space and reach distant planets. During the race to the moon between the USA and Russia, the speed at which space technology advanced was phenomenal. While the speed at which space travel advanced has died down, space travel  continues to advance, and it is almost guaranteed that it will be prominent in the future.

Many different technologies will be needed and created within the next 5-10 years, but these three will definitely continue to advance as we attempt to see just how much we can create and how far we can go.
