 Walmart is preparing to test a new, unlimited shipping service which will compete to some extent with Amazon Prime, but at a lower price point of just $50 per year.

Wal-Mart is on wrong side of digital history. Looks like another fail, telegraphed in advance. WalMart doesn't have a successful and dedicated home shopping base. I don't see how this would dent Amazon Prime's 2-day service, even if membership fee is lower. Time will tell.
