En het businessmodel dat daaraan ten grondslag ligt is kraakhelder: als je groot genoeg bent, zijn er manieren om geld te verdienen aan gebruikers. En die manieren zien we nu aan de oppervlakte komen bij Twitter en Instagram.

Eric Qualman heeft zijn Social Media Revolution video weer up to date gemaakt

Er is weer een update van wat we inmiddels een Youtube klassieker mogen noemen: Social Media Revolution, van Eric Qualman. Als je ooit iemand moet uitleggen waarom social media belangrijk is, kom je geheid uit op zijn video, die nu dus al in versie vier is verschenen. Alleen daarom is het al fijn dat er een update is met actuele cijfers en nieuwe merken: het staat zo lullig als je hip probeert te doen met een filmpje dat verwijst naar Myspace ;-) Overigens wel nog steeds met 'Right Here Right Now' van Fatboy Slim om alle mindblowing cijfers er lekker in te beuken.
