Precession and Integral Leadership

Precession and Integral Leadership | Futurable Planet: Answers from a Shifted Paradigm. | Scoop.it

Precession in this article is based on the principle of precession as defined by R. Buckminster Fuller —the effect of bodies in motion on other bodies in motion.- In understanding the principle of precession we can no longer be irresponsible about any thought, word or action. All thoughts, words and actions create a precessional effect. We need to be vigilant in our consideration of exactly what precessional effects we are creating, and what are the consequences.

Infographic - The Emergence of Collective Intelligence | Ledface Blog | Futurable Planet: Answers from a Shifted Paradigm. | Scoop.it

Collective Intelligence (CI) is complex by nature. It is not merely the sum of what a group knows, but the intelligence that emerges from it. This “emergent” behavior is of a different nature and we can see it at play in perfectly balanced ecosystems where swarm-like behavior produces astounding results that exceed the intelligence of any one creature acting alone.

What is the future calling us to do?
Five years ago when a small group of us started the Presencing Institute, we envisioned a global Presencing-in-Action Leadership School that would integrate science, consciousness, and profound societal change. As a first step, we decided to prototype a much smaller version of it and call it the Presencing Institute (PI).

Since then, many more people have become involved in PI, beginning to prototype seven key elements of the presencing-in-action leadership schoo

Climate change may offer humanity a healing crisis opportunity — Transition Voice

Climate change may offer humanity a healing crisis opportunity — Transition Voice | Futurable Planet: Answers from a Shifted Paradigm. | Scoop.it

Climate change evidences signs of earth's intelligence and our shared crisis. Can climate disaster be averted by raising humanity's vibrational intelligence? Since consciousness is inextricably linked to the material universe, our thoughts and our psychic energy directly impact the moment-by- moment reality we manifest. This is the grave—and joyful—responsibility we must accept, if we would like to break the “mind-forg’d manacles” that restrain us from striking a new tone of harmony and uniting us with the earth.

Noah Raford » How to Build a Collective Intelligence Platform to Crowdsource Almost Anything

Noah Raford » How to Build a Collective Intelligence Platform to Crowdsource Almost Anything | Futurable Planet: Answers from a Shifted Paradigm. | Scoop.it

"The MIT Approach to Collective Intelligence
According to the Center for Collective Intelligence, a good collective intelligence platform (CI) must address the following themes:
Goals, referring to the desired outcome;
Incentives, referring to the motivational factors;
Structure/process, referring to the business model and organizational structure to complete the task; and
Staffing, referring to the people required to support the business model and sustainability of CI within the organization.
These four themes then translate into the following four questions:
What is to be accomplished?
Why should anyone help out?
How are they meant to contribute?
Who will perform the necessary work?"

Pattern language - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pattern language - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia | Futurable Planet: Answers from a Shifted Paradigm. | Scoop.it

A pattern language, a term coined by architect Christopher Alexander, is a structured method of describing good design practices within a field of expertise. Advocates of this design approach claim that ordinary people of ordinary intelligence can use it to successfully solve very large, complex design problems. Like all languages, a pattern language has vocabulary, syntax, and grammar. The odd part is that the language is applied to some complex activity other than communication.
