LaBooM is designed as a blended learning course, in which open and distance learning phases interchange. LaBooM for Beginners is targeted at young skilled workers. LaBooM for Advanced Learners is targeted at Junior Managers. The standards match the European Certification System of the Association of Bookseller and Publisher Training Organisation in Europe (ABPTOE).

BEST Project aims to transfer a best practice called the 'Gdansk Model', found operating successfully at Państwowe Szkoły Budownictwa, a vocational school located in Gdansk, Poland. The Gdansk-Model gives key steps for implementing a deeper cooperation between vocational schools and enterprises, as well as valuable lessons on the mutual economic benefits when involved in a deeper level of cooperation. The project facilitates educationally trained practitioners to act as company representatives that reside in vocational schools. Companies establish workshop rooms housed within the school building and train students practically this developing the relationship which will benefit migrant workers.

FutEur International Conference, Romania - On 18th of November, AZD Medgidia will host the final conference of the FutEur project | FutEur Project | Scoop.it
FutEur Project's insight:

Partnership will come together again in Constanta (Romania) to share and discuss the final results of the project.


On 18th of November an International Conference will be held in Pestera with the valuable participation of representatives of diplomatic missions at Constanta and local authorities’ representatives, as well as European experts, both in the fields of Digital Competence and Migrant Integration.

 

During the Conference the FutEur partners will launch the e-learning portal and present the Best Practice Resources identified.
On this base, two different panels formed by experts will discuss on:
- the Success of Digital Resources in aiding the integration of Migrant workers across Europe.
- the Challenges facing the Integration of Migrant workers in a European context. 

 

During the afternoon the participants will visit Pestera local community and school. This intensive day will close with a Romanian Cultural Evening.

EQLEARN aims to ease the access of the disadvantaged groups to the labour market, by developing their skills and competencies. In doing so social exclusion and poverty will also be decreased. The project aims to develop and improve the competencies of the disadvantaged groups so that they can integrate into the society and labour market. The product aims to integrate the competences suggested by the Europe Reference Framework. Also the project takes into consideration the characteristics of different disadvantaged groups while simultaneously being applicable to any disadvantaged group.

The CATEL project aims to prepare teachers/trainers and counselors to meet the training needs of migrant students through the development of a supplementary E-Learning training course as well as training materials. CATEL project develops a further training model which explores the changing training environment with a focus on how migration, cultural diversity and intercultural communication affects learning and training practice. It examines which personal skills and competences of the teacher/trainer/instructor can help to handle risk factors and conflictual situations and investigates how cultural diversity is recognised and catered for in training.
