Using Firmware 4 | by Rico Pfirstinger - Fuji Rumors

Using Firmware 4 | by Rico Pfirstinger - Fuji Rumors | Fujifilm X system | Scoop.it
Fujifilm announced another major firmware revision for the X-T1: Version 4 introduces a new autofocus system with zones and object tracking based on pattern recognition. It’s also faster and more accurate, and it’s easier to use. Over the past weeks, I was able to gather practical experience with several work-in-progress versions of what’s coming in late June. The X100T: a review in five pieces | Fujifilm X system | Scoop.it
“I longed for Istanbul. Or Madrid, Cairo, Rio. I longed for the circus,
for freight trains, for a rush of uncertainty in long and aimless
circumambulations; for an assault on the senses and a total loss of
balance, making my way through the unknown, sinking in strange
quicksand crowds with my eye to a small window.”

That was me, waxing poetic during the intro of the X100S review almost two
years ago. It may have seemed strange to some that a camera, a simple

The World’s Quickest Lens Review - Fuji XF 23mm 1.4R | Fstoppers

The World’s Quickest Lens Review - Fuji XF 23mm 1.4R | Fstoppers | Fujifilm X system | Scoop.it
So here is probably the shortest review on a lens in the history of photography. Ready? Do you own a Fuji interchangeable X series camera? Yes? Go buy this lens. That's it. Not sure what else you need from me. The new XF 23mm F1.4 from Fuji is a BEAST. This thing renders stunning images and just gets out of the way. If you grab one lens before you go out to shoot all day, this is the one you’ll want. If you really want more detail, read on, otherwise, just go buy this thing and have fun.

Editor's note: Fook and ohm have been following each other for who knows
how long. We trade war stories about lenses, amps, headphones, and

an article that clearly resonates with me.

Without further ado, I bring you Fook:

A little about me:

I basically took up photography as a way to get out of being in
photographs. That, and I found it a good way to make friends after
moving to Australia. It took me a while, but
