Fuji X-T1 versus Nikon D4: High ISO Test | Jason P. Odell

Fuji X-T1 versus Nikon D4: High ISO Test | Jason P. Odell | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it

File this under “just for fun.” I have both a Nikon D4 and Fujifilm X-T1. Both cameras are roughly 16MP resolution, but the Fuji uses an APS-C sensor while the Nikon D4 is a 35mm sensor. I performed this quick ISO comparison simply to see how well Fuji’s sensor stacked up against that of my D4, which is a low-light champ. Before I go on, please understand that these are two very different cameras, for very different uses. I like them both for different reasons!

Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 & Testing New Fuji Glass / 35mmstreet

Glasgow Commonwealth Games 2014 & Testing New Fuji Glass / 35mmstreet | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it

I’ve had the pleasure of trying out some great new Fujifilm X Series Lenses that they sent to me recently and thought I’d post some street shots here before I review them over at my DCP Blog. The lenses are the tiny 27mm f2.8 Pancake, The super wide 10-24mm f4 and two converter lenses for my favourite street cameras the x100 & X100s. these two screw on lenses take the standard 35mm (full frame equivalent) lens down to 28mm or up to a 50mm. 28mm, 35mm &50mm are all great street photography focal lengths, so there’s pretty much something for every street photographer wishing to use the X100 or X100S. Reviews for each lens coming soon.

Das "Pentazhong Nocticon"... / retrocameracs

Das "Pentazhong Nocticon"... / retrocameracs | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it

hpc's insight:

Since we had but initially talked about "Exemption artist" was now much more interesting for me if the Lens Turbo is also known as "Noctilux-replacement". So I Flanged a SMC Pentax-A 1.4 / 50 to the Reducer. Those who know, know that it is a more than useful lens. Because magic - so make a bottle bottom a top lens - this may not matter how good Lens Turbo.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW IF YOU WANT TO SWITCH FROM NIKON TO FUJIMy first proper camera was a Nikon FM. Just a silver Nikon with a 1.8 50mm lens. That's what I could afford and all I could manage for my formative years as a student photographer. It's a beautiful camera and really put me at the…

Wilson Chiew - PutraJaya on Exposure | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it
This was my countless time of visit to Putrajaya however taking photos of the Seri Wawasan Bridge was my first time. I crossed the bridge a few times but just sitting inside car, never thought the bridge is that gorgeous and marvellous after I review the pictures that I took. At first I was kind of lazy to travel so far from Kuala Lumpur to Putrajaya (~30kM one way) just to take the pictures of it. But, in the end of the day, it is worth every second of it and I will definitely explore more of Putrajaya again in the near future.

The evolution of the 'walking' 70-200 lens / garyk smith photography

The evolution of the 'walking' 70-200 lens / garyk smith photography | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it

Remembering of course due to the smaller sensor used by the Fuji Xseries the equivalent focal length of the Fuji 55-200mm is actually 82.5-300mm when compared to a full frame DSLR fitted with a 70-200mm.

So now I come to the 'walking ' bit,  which is, I suppose the type of photography that I enjoy the most, nothing more that a holiday stroll of a few miles in fine weather, taking lots of images, most of which will never sell, but it's an enjoyable pastime.

I give you the XF55-200mmF3.5-4.8 R LM OIS... an amazing lens.

Fuji X-T1 and Nikon D810 -- how do they compare? / aboutphotography - tom grill

Fuji X-T1 and Nikon D810 -- how do they compare? / aboutphotography - tom grill | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it

On the face of it comparing these two superb cameras with each other is absurd. The Fuji X-T1 with its 16.3mp APS-C sensor is just not going to be a match a full-frame, 36.3mp sensor in the Nikon D810 -- unless you decide to compare them on equal ground.

A Prospectus On The Leica M-9P vs. Fuji X-Pro1 – Jonesblog

A Prospectus On The Leica M-9P vs. Fuji X-Pro1 – Jonesblog | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it

Over the next little while, I am looking forward to comparing and contrasting the Leica M9 experience with the Fuji X-Pro1, a rangefinder style camera that in many ways is the Leica M9s contemporary, yet has shown Leica the way forward.  Last year, I stepped into the Fuji X-mount waters with the X-Pro1 and its been a revelation in so many ways.

this should prove interesting. From what I have seen with a borrowed M(, the Leica has a certain pop and depth that the fuji doesn't have. But the fuji has it's own look that is special too.

As far as I was concerned – and whilst the greatest majority of cameras were pointing towards the colorful, impressive and noisy acts that seemed to appear every few meters – my Fuji X-E1 with XF35 f/1.4 lens was firmly aimed in the opposite direction. I was here to photograph the ‘real’ people.

Thousand miles with Fuji X-T1 | Art Photo Feature - Vineet Vohra (+ Rohit Vohra) | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it
An impromptu road trip to Jodhpur happened last weekend. With a few essentials & the Fuji camera, which I love since the time I pressed the shutter of XT-1 for the first time, we ie Rohit (my brother and a photographer), me and my indispensable camera left at the crack of dawn for a photography journey to the historic blue city of Jodhpur. We decided beforehand that we are not going to do photography en route otherwise we wouldn't reach till the next day! But things rarely happen the way we plan, the sun came out playing hide & seek with the clouds & started teasing us with some immaculate light & both of us had to surrender to our passion.

Fuji X System Hands-on : The Fuji X-E1 / antonio nunes | Fujifilm X Serie APS C sensor cameras | Scoop.it

y friend Paulo Pinto from Colorless Impressions has become a great MFuji X system enthusiast; so much that he decided to sell all his Canon gear and really invest in the new system. We’ve had long conversations about the pros and cons of different systems and why he made the change. His reasoning is very clear: he now always carries his gear with him since size and weight are not a problem, image quality is great, and the Fuji cameras are just fun to use.
