Quite a while I did a cursory look at the new Acros film simulation included with cameras having Fuji's updated X Processor Pro or whatever they call it. The entire focus of that post was about the grain emulation. Why? Well the slight difference in the tonal curve isn't crazy

I honestly thought I would use nothing other than Nikon cameras. I’d been through a few in my time first as a rally photographer and lately, as a urban/landscape photographer. Il y a quelques mois je faisais un article sur mon passage (ou non) au mirrorless et plus particulièrement axé sur Fuji pour le potentiel gain en taille/poids. Depuis, j’ai acheté un Fuji X-T2 et un Fujinon XF 35 f1.4 R pour le tester (tout en gardant mon 5D3) dans l’optique de ne garder, à terme, qu’un des 2 systèmes.

Make no mistake: The cameras in today’s top-of-the-line smartphones can take some absolutely stunning images. The iPhone 7 (and particularly the 7 Plus, with its dual-lens system), the Google Pixel and the Samsung Galaxy S7, just to name a few examples, are all highly capable shooters.

I had always wished that Fuji would have made the tripod feet on the two long ]zooms with an Arca-Swiss type mount, just as the did for the body grips for all the X-cameras. But they didn't. I knew it would only be a matter of time before someone else would recognize the opportunity and manufacture a replacement quick-release foot. Now someone has, and this time it wasn't someone in China. The replacement mounts are made in the USA.
