FUJIFILM X100F Pours Revolutionary Tech Into A Classic Camera's Body

The Fujifilm X100F is nothing less than a throwback tactile delight to hold and operate. As uniquely pleasing as its authentic retro design certainly is, prepare to truly be left speechless by …

Maxmax Launches Monochrome Fujifilm X-Pro1 and X100S | Fstoppers

In 2012, Leica created a stir in the photographic industry with the release of its Leica M Monochrom. Half of the Internet was up in arms about the ridiculousness of the concept (and, of course, the price tag), while the other half praised Leica for its bold move in the modern market of high-contrast, over-saturated camera phone images. With names like "poor man's Leica" and "the new Leica" being thrown around Fuji forums all over the Internet, the question was put to Fuji asking if they would consider a monochrome-only version of one of their cameras.

Review: Fujifilm X-T2 - Admiring Light

Fujifilm, after having been stuck with more or less the same sensor for around 4 years, has been updating their rather robust lineup with the new 24 Megapixel X-Trans III sensor.  First up was last winter’s long-awaited X-Pro2, and then this past summer, Fuji moved to update their extremely popular X-T1 with the new X-T2. It’s been out a little while, but I finally got a chance to run the X-T2 through its paces, and I have to say: Fuji’s got a winner on their hands yet again. Let’s dive in to the details.

Simplicity and the X-Pro1 | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it
I almost wish I had not impulse-bought from Craigslist an old, used X-Pro1. I almost wish I had stuck with my X-T1 and X70 combo. They did the job. Competently. The X-Pro1 has intruded on my current Fuji setup because I am finding I like it almost too much and I am now reconsidering my gear choices and what I enjoy most about photography.

Is Fuji My New Leica? What About My Sony? | Joel Wolfson Photographic Artist | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it
Fuji vs Leica vs Sony…What to do?   Leica gear is beautiful but will likely always remain the domain of the wealthy hobbyist or the hardcore, sacrifice-what-it-takes-to-own-a-Leica photographer. I recently came across a fascinating article “Why Street Photography Matters in 2017” by Temoor Iqbal. I agree with many points raised in his piece. With everyone having access to a camera and the street “the result is an absolute mire of dreadful, samey images—endless medium-distance shots of people walking, endless portraits of buskers, and…

OnOne Raw Improves X-Trans Support - Sort Of | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it

Since OnOne released their Raw software late last year, the company has been putting out major updates at a fairly regular schedule. A significant release was announced yesterday, and as part of it, the list of features included improved X-Trans support. In previous versions, the raw conversion of Fuji X-Trans files was extremely poor. I covered it in a recent post, and I pointed out the severe artifacts. So has it improved?
