Three Fuji's - X-Pro 1, X-E1, X-E2.

Three Fuji's - X-Pro 1, X-E1, X-E2. | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it

One of the nice thing about Fuji is the pricing. The X-Pro 1 was somewhat expensive at first and I still think the X100S is overpriced, but that seems to be the case for all these fixed lens super compacts. However the bodies above are now at a very decent price for a system and the lenses are mostly reasonable, if not cheap. Fuji also do lots of deals, one after the other. Now this is either a clever marketing ploy or they just can't sell them, Whatever the reason its a lot easier to buy into one of the best all round systems these days.

Venturing into Bihar with my X-Pro2 - Part 3

Venturing into Bihar with my X-Pro2 - Part 3 | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it

If there was a concept through which I could describe Patna, it wold be the concept of cleansing. An all too familiar line of thought considering the vernacular of our present government. But what does make a country if not for it's people and how they spend their days? So there it is. Cleaning of the streets to a lack thereof. A cleanup of corruption and a lack thereof. An attempt at cleansing of the soul from sins in the Ganges to failure thereof. Well, what do you want to clean today?

An Interesting Hoodie

An Interesting Hoodie | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it

This is a quick one. Years ago I bought a cheap LH-100 lens hood/adapter ring knock-off for my X100 (I don't remember which "letter" version). It ended up lasting a lot longer than I ever thought it would but finally gave up the ghost some months ago: the bayonet stopped locking.

hpc's insight:

I bought one of these  and find it very convienient.

Fujifilm lenses for landscape photography

Fujifilm lenses for landscape photography | Fujifilm X Series APS C sensor camera | Scoop.it
Fujifilm already offers quite a few lenses for their X system that can be used for landscape photography. The exact selection is a matter of personal preferences and style, but I will try to make some generic recommendations based on my usage in the past few years. In particular, I try to consider the lighter and more compact options that are better suited for longer backpacking, but preferably without compromising image quality. After all, lighter gear is one of the most important reasons why people use mirrorless systems.
