Some Photos from Mexico – Taken With The New Fuji X-E1 | Bryan and Mae

Some Photos from Mexico – Taken With The New Fuji X-E1 | Bryan and Mae | Fuji X-Pro1 | Scoop.it

Last month I had the opportunity to travel to Mexico to shoot an incredible wedding, but more on that another time. While I was there I was able to do a little exploring and I brought along my new Fuji x-e1 and Fuji 35mm lens. All of these images were shot in JPEG with Fuji’s in-camera film simulation. This means NO post processing! Hallelujah. I am excited about the quality of the images and about the look of Fuji’s film simulation. This is definitely my new travel/walk around camera. The days of lugging an SLR around are OVER! For those of you who have a Fuji- most of these images were the provia simulation with the highlight tone at -2 and the shadow tone at -1. Thanks to my bud Michael for being my model in a bunch of these.....

Available now is the Lensmate Fujifilm X-Pro1 Thumbrest. Engineered specifically for the Fujifilm X-Pro1, the sculpted thumbrest relaxes the grip on the camera, reducing camera shake allowing slower shutter speeds. Easily attached via the hot shoe, it is held securely with a machine screw that clamps the hot shoe rails so it can't damage the camera. A silicon bumper under the thumb portion aligns and stabilizes the rest, as well as protects the camera finish. Milled from a block of 6061 T6 alloy, bead-blasted and anodized, it has an OEM look with a fit and finish the equal of the camera itself. Made in the USA to high tolerances for a slop free, exacting fit in an ISO 9001:2008 certified facility that makes aerospace parts. Installation: Slide the thumbrest into the hot shoe and tighten the screw with the provided 1/16" allen key. To remove, loosen the screw 1/4 turn and slide out.
