Engagement session off of the Oregon coast shot entirely with the X-Pro1. Finally got around to renting the 60mm f2.4 and had a BLAST with it! (edited using VSCOFILM in Aperture 3)

Camera Review – Fuji X-Pro1 | VanEarl Photography

Camera Review – Fuji X-Pro1 | VanEarl Photography | Fuji X-Pro1 | Scoop.it

Would I trade in all of my Nikon gear and go all out for the Fuji X-Pro1? It’s very, very tempting! I could see myself shooting this camera 99% of the time and using my Nikons as a backup system. However, the Fuji has not been out all that long and I don’t yet know it’s longevity. The D700 has been around the block and back again and I know it’s quality in and out. With that said, I’m pretty sure I will own one in the near future. And, with that I will leave you with some of the images I took using this wonderful camera along with some descriptions, enjoy!

tulip festival + fuji = COLOR! | VanEarl Photography

tulip festival + fuji = COLOR! | VanEarl Photography | Fuji X-Pro1 | Scoop.it

Every spring the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm in Woodburn, OR holds a festival where visitors can come and enjoy the beauty of their tulip farm. I thought it would be fun to go and have a look this year (my first visit ever and totally not the last!). What I saw was beyond mind blowing. The colors, man. THE COLORS! What a sight. I brought along my Fujifilm X-Pro1 and really wanted to capture the vibrance of the tulips. Hope you enjoy!

Maternity – Megumi and Jeremy | VanEarl Photography

Maternity – Megumi and Jeremy | VanEarl Photography | Fuji X-Pro1 | Scoop.it

Megumi and Jeremy are such a lovely couple and they are a total pleasure to be around. They are going to be such awesome parents! Also, I think it should be mandatory from now on that every maternity session should include a shoulder rub for the mama-to-be from the dad-to-be, amiright? There little one is due mid-August.

All images shot with the Fuji X-Pro1 and 35mm f1.4, edited in Aperture 3 with vscofilm.
